Friday June 30th, 2006 We are almost done recording the basslines and we expect to go to press at the end of the month or shortly thereafter. In the meantime, please catch our show next week at the San Diego House of Blues on Wednesday, July 5th! Get there before 8:30pm with one of our tickets and get in FREE! ---------------- Saturday March 19th , 2006 Welcome to the Official site of the San Diego based alternative heavy metal band Dive Bomber. Amazing as it is, we have finally updated the site again. There is a lot happening with Dive Bomber right now including the upcoming release of new CD "Pin Ups and Parachutes". At the last update we had finished 4 out of the 10 songs from the new album. I am very happy to say that with the exception of recording the bass lines of newest Dive Bomber member Dave Wadsworth (aka GRIM), the album has been completed. We are scheduled to record the new bass lines at Capricorn Recording Studios in San Diego on May 6th and May 7th, 2006. Obviously we are very excited after such a long delay to finally get the music out there and we hope to have the disk mastered by the end of May. That should mean we will hopefully be able to get the printed copies done by July with an August CD release party. So that is the current plan and we think you are really gonna dig the new recordings. As a matter of fact, I will be uploading the newest versions of the mp3 files that we have for "Bring It" and "I Like Everybody" today. These are the last Dive Bomber mp3s that will feature Tom Beatty on Bass so get them now as they are sure to be collector's items someday ;). We are stoked to announce that we will be opening for Guttermouth at Canes Bar and Grill in Mission Beach on Friday, May 12th 2006. This is a Belligerent Entertainment production and we anticipate that it will be pretty close to sold out. If you would like advance tickets to this show for $13 which is $2 cheaper than you can buy them from the club, email me immediately at catfish@heavymusic.com and if we have any left I will arrange to get you some. This show is definately gonna rock and we might even have a new song for ya that evening. Make plans to party with Dive Bomber and Guttermouth on Friday May 12th!
